Program
 

A program can be composed of short plays and interactive skits. The plays last about 15 minutes and consist of two acts. Interactive skits involve the children in party activities which can include magic tricks and games.

A 40 minute program usually involves,

  • An introduction,
  • A magic skit
  • A play
  • A game activity
  • And finally the present giving and the birthday song
   
Mary Godmother's Skits
  Her skits are designed for toddlers and young children ages 1 to 7 years. Each skit is set to be short, interactive, and fast paced for the entertainment of our little guests. A program may consist of any combination, including a few of the skits highlighted below.

Sleeping Princess
Mary Godmother gets a charming prince to wake up the sleeping princess. Unfortunately, the handsome prince unwittingly makes a sacrifice to his good looks.

Switching Boxes
Abu the Wizard puts a lolly-pop in one of the boxes. The belly dancers switch the boxes around. Mom's seem to never get the right box but the kids always make the right guess. Is Abu responsible?

Pinky and the Lady Bug
Pinky just loves lady bugs. After a little bit of hide and seek, Pinky chases the lady bug all the way into the audience.

Dragon Bath
The damsels have no clean dresses. Where did they go? Into the dragon's tummy. Dragon makes it up by giving them a magic bath, but the tub looks awfully like a black cauldren.

 This is Mary Godmother's latest play about Dragon who kidnaps villagers on the King's birthday. The second act presents the captives at the Dragon's lair, about to be had for a feast. Only Mary Godmother can save the day and reveal the motive of the unhappy Dragon.

 Adu has lost his reign over puppet land but will not concede defeat! He creates a magic shampoo and everybody wants it. The people are willing to give anything for more shampoo, but what will Abu ask for?
